I will bring fiscal responsbility, integrity, leadership and communication within the Sheriff's Department and the community. 

My door will always be open.

My goal is to work with the citizens of Rock County and together, We the people, not We the government, will drive crime out of the county. We will make an anti-crime/pro-business climate in Rock County that will encourage criminals to pass on through to commit their criminal activity somewhere else.

I believe my diversified background in the Navy, Law Enforcement, Farming and Construction especially equips and qualifies me to run the Sheriff Department.

I believe that people must be willing to stand up and fight for what they believe in or things will never change. That is why I am such a strong believer in the Constitution, especially the Second Amendment and a Right to Conceal Carry law that does not infringe on law abiding citizens constitutional rights.

I know what many of the employees of the Sheriff Department are going through and what undue stress does to the work environment. I have personally been there! Working together we can solve these problems. I'm not afraid to listen to the people who work for me and to discuss their concerns, criticisms, and suggestions. After all, the jailers and deputies are the ones with firsthand knowledge of what is not working and what is. I have always believed in listening to the subject matter experts!

I feel that with my diversified background, 14 years of law enforcement, 20 years U.S. Navy Reserve Seabees (ret.), 14 years farming, and my experience as a General Contractor (K BAR H Construction), I am amply qualified to run the Sheriff Department.
